Reversing premolar extraction

2022-12-10 05:10:59
I had my 4 premolars extracted. They said its due to overcrowding but now am getting tmj symptoms. I WANT TO REVERSE AND SAVE WHAT'S LEFT. I still have few gaps left in my upper jaw but the lower ones have closed already. Is there a way I can stop the procedure and reopen gaps to some extent by skipping retainers? Can I just fill in the gaps using dental bonding now? Instead of implants. Can this save me from future problems due to extraction?please help

Get OPG to rule out any tmj disorders associated. Space closing is best yo do with retainers. You can consult through this for further details.

I need to see your OPG to comment more precisely. But it's unlikely to have TMJ issues just because of premolar extraction. Unstable or traumatic occulsion or vd changes that might have taken place during ortho treatment can be the cause for TMJ problem.
