Hello doctor, I have gluteal pain. I have been told that it is related to a joint and that there is swelling.
I have been given:
Lignogesic gel
Chymoral B
Retoz 90mg
I forgot to ask what is Retoz 90 is for.
Could you please tell if it is only a pain reliever or it also helps in reducing the swelling?
I don't have problem with the pain. So, can I avoid taking retoz 90? Please advice.

Retoz 90 is etoricoxib it is an non steroidal anti inflammatory
In simple terms it decreases the swelling and pain due to inflammation
Unless you have a heart condition or a stomach ulcer these are safe in short term
Take it after a meal to decrease acidity
