Retina detached

I had undergone retinal detachment and I Surgery with Silicon oil and DIAGNOSIS- TOTAL RD with choroidol(OD) and Operations Procedure- VITRECTOMY 23G+EL+FGE+SOI.But after removal of oil retina detached again few days.Now doctor says 2nd time operation is required and operation Procedure is-FGE+EL+SOI

This is a known complication in cases where there are choroidals along with RD. Incidence of redetachments increases upto 20-40%. After oil removal chances increase of redetachment. Whenever retina detaches, only option is to do a surgery to place it back in its position... So you must go for surgery. Prefer to get it done from your primary surgeon as he knows what happened in first two surgeries and shall be able to manage better. Dont worry about other options and just go ahead with surgery.
