Hi, I was suffering from Resistant UTI for more than 2 months and after trying 2-3 medicines now I am taking niftran twice a day for almost 2 weeks now. The doctor has suggested to take it for 3 more weeks and see if the infection betters. My symptoms are almost gone except for the irritation in the bladder causing urgency to urinate feeling. What do I do? I don't want long course of antibiotic so should I stop the medicine and take something for immediate relief?
