Hi, i have had my appendix removed 5 weeks ago today, ever since i have had them removed my stomach has been very bloated or swollen i look pregnant, in the last week ive been having pain in my stomach more like muscles pains particularly around the belly button area, and sometimes not all the time i have a pain like i had before my appendix was removed! Is this nor mal?
Hello there, some pain in the operated area is normal, as you said it is swollen and tender, then look is there any infection and redness present or not? If not then you need not to worry much. Bloating can be due to gas formation. Take simple walk, do exercise.
