My Sister was just diagonised for Salmonella Typhi by having Ceftriaxone I.V. with Bactrim DS oral amd then TAXIM O 400 oral + Bactrim DS. After having these medicines for about 15 days she cured. But again from past 2 days she is having same issue of high fever and vomiting and weakness. Kindly suggest what to do now. Is it typhoid again?? She cant eat anything. Whatever she is eating she vomits now. We are going to hospitalize her again tomorrow. Why this is happening after having antibiotics and anti-bacterial?? Is there anything to panic or it will be cured after having same I.V. treatments? Please share your view.
