How effective is cell regenerative therapy (stem cell therapy)known as regrow in India as an alternative to knee replacement surgery? Does it work for grade 4 arthritis or beyond?

Stem cell therapy is still in its research stages. The success rate is quite low even for early arthritis. In grade 4 arthritis, Total knee replacement is the only option because the cartilage loss is extensive.

Regrow is effective for localised cartilage defects in the knee joint. Grade 4 OA includes generalized deficiency of the knee cartilage, with deformities and loose bodies/osteophytes- Regrow won't work at this stage. Joint replacement is the only viable option in advanced degenerative arthritis.
