Regarding tsh levels of 7.18

2023-06-07 14:12:04
I am a healthy person but since last three to four months I have gained substantial weight and also feel that my digestion has slowed down a bit because what I eat, I keep on greeting it's burps even after 5 hours. But my appetite is normal. Usually since last three to four years my weight fluctuates from 87 to 89 kgs( height is 5 feet 10 inches), but within last four to five months I have become 93 kgs now, so I got my blood tests done in which my tsh level was 7.18 and t3 and t4 levels are normal. Lipid profile and KFT is also normal. So is weight gain and slow digestion due to thyroid? Should I take medicine for this value of TSH or leave it and focus on my lifestyle? Is there anything to be concerned about,? I request to give clear answers.
