Regarding Rabies Vaccination

Can someone take rabies vaccine after 2 months of dog scratch... I had started the vaccines after two months did I am safe now??? I took 2 booster doses because...I had taken full course of ARV 8 months back.. Is iam safe now did rabies vaccine work at whatever delay but before onset of disease
