Regarding NT scan and dual Marker Test

Hi. I'm 29 years old. We had a NT scan done last week at 13th week of pregnancy and the result was 2.4. We got dual marker test reports and risk for Down syndrome is 1.253 . Is it a matter of concern? What are the chances of the baby being born normal?

You are in intermediate risk (>1:250) and the NT is significantly high so you need NIPT

Positive NT SCAN depends on the 95th centile value for that specific gestation/CRL . SINCE YR NT is 2.4 ,it's normal. Dual markers interpretation More than 1:1000- low risk--> only do anomaly TIFFA SCAN at 18-20 weeks 1:251- 1:1000- INTERMEDIATE RISK --> do NIPT/CELL FREE DNA TEST or u can wait for scan at 16wks <1:250- POSITIVE TEST--> do confirmatory test ( amniocentesis)
Next Steps
