Aim of any obstetrician is a healthy mother and a healthy baby.It is the most responsible job. So do embrace ur doctors' decision and have faith in the doctor whatever the mode of delivery may be eventually.Moreover if u r so determined u might have a normal delivery. Whether you can deliver normally depends on your pelvis. Gynaecologist can assess pelvis after 37 weeks and decide whether pelvis is roomy enough for the baby. However, of baby weight is 4 kg or more, a Caesarea delivery is better. Mode of delivery will depend on many other factors like position of placenta, baby's heart rate during labour. Delivery pain can be reduced by epidural analgesia. I'd recommend a personal visit for proper evaluation
