Injectable diclofenac is not banned anywhere. The particular brand voveran is banned due to controversy of its solvent named transcutol-P. I think its just a battle of pharma companies. Between novartis and troiika. The later company produces same molecule under brand name dynapar.
Health Tips
according to WHO ladder for pain management NSAIDs and PCM are both at same step.

Yes it's dangerous but still used by ignorant doctors and sold over the counter by chemists.
Next Steps
use safer painkillers like Paracetamol even combiflam has side effects and isn't safe anymore

Government has Banned the manufacture and sale of a specific formulation of a painkiller injection, diclofenac. Diclofenac sodium injection contained Transcutol-P which caused damage to the kidneys.  Thanks

It's safe and very commonly used. Government has not banned the drug. It's a 30-40 year old drug. Some ignorant doctors and chemists buy it from cheap and low quality companies, so the impurities are more responsible for reactions rather than the drug itself.
