I did my Regular checkup from Thyrocare in April and my cholesterol was fine.
But in May I did
Lipid profile again after and my values were following -
Hdl 30
LDL 90
VLDL 29
Triglycerides:145
Total cholesterol 218
This was done in a local lab only. On internet I read that total cholesterol is the sum of hdl+ldl+20% triglycerides which makes my sum as 149 for total cholesterol .
Has the lab calculated serum cholesterol wrongly?
