Reduced Central thickness of retina scan

Hello Doctors, I need one guidance on my mother's eye condition. In the OCT scan the central thickness was found to be 158 in right eye and 166 in left eye. Is there any treatment to restore the same? Because the concerned doctor informed us that there is no treatment for the reduced thickenss. Please guide us. If there is any possible treatment then we can go for the same.

As per OCT retinal thickness is reduced than normal retina. It usually due to age related changes in the macula and that cannot be restored back.

It is due to age related changes,which can not be restored back.pl take Tab.occugold,1tab per day in the night after food, for 1 month.pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Once the macular thickness reduces it is called foveal atrophy. Till now, there is no treatment for it
