Redness and irritation

I do a sw job, so working more in computers, my eyes turn red and i get difficulty in blinking , it irritates my eye, sometimes itchy eyes, My lens power is -4.75 and cylindrical -1...how to cure this problem, please suggest

Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Eyes need rest. Being continuously in front of a computer screen will definitely make the eye tired and cause the tear film to dry up and it will turn red/ start watering etc. You need to close your eyes for 5 minutes every hour and you can use OnTears eye drops 1 drop 5 times a day.
