Redness above the lip area
I keep getting some redness above the lip area, sometimes the skin gets very dry and flaky sometimes it burns. It gets alright on its own, but sometimes I apply soframycin creme

This could be perioral dermatitis. Look if there is something specific that you apply after which you get redness.
Avoid heavy face creams , face scrub and fluorinated tooth pastes.
