My right eye is reddiish since from today morning. Feels slight irritation and burning sensation. What could be the reason for this ?Please advice What should I want to do ?

Hi is the whole of the eye reddish or only that part in the picture. It could be infective, inflammatory or allergic. You can apply olapatadine anti allergy drops twice daily and use lubricating drops 4 times a day. If there is a discharge start antibiotics like ofloxacin 4 times a day. If still persisting please visit the ophthalmologist.
