Red skin on buttocks

I have this roundish red mark on my butt, it never disappears. It is located on the left side, in the place of sitting, where bone touches the surface (I am skinny). It is slightly rougher than the rest of the skin and is bright red, or looks discoloured. It makes me really self conscious, and I don't know what to do - moisturising creams didn't really seem to help.
