Hello everyone. I have developed this red patch inside the corner of my inner upper lip! It does gives me discomfort and pain when it arises, however after applying oral gels it disappears for sometime too! I have shown myself to many dentists and they say there is no cause! There is no sharp too, no incorrect bite nothing, but iam struggleing with this! Its on both corners of inner side of upper lips! Please refer to picture! Its feels dry/ rough to touch too! I have never consulted a dermatologist for this & only shown myself to many dentists! Questions: does this fall under dermatology? Or it it oral pathology/ dental department? What shud be the daignostics and treatment and does derma has this? Please don't say consult in people or u have a cure, so i shud consult! Would appreciate specific answers! Thankyou

The history you are giving is not very specific mam. Does it come periodically. What causes it's onset how long does it last each time. Does it have burning sensation. It could be a viral infection that is causing the recurrent apthous ulcer. As such there is no specific treatment for the ulcer . If it is because of virus than we can try something based on that
