Because without looking at the lesion it is very difficult for us to diagnose the condition and treat you further. If there's open wound or bleeding, you will need topical antibiotics creams. If it's just inflammation, then you will need oral anti inflammatory medications and topical cold compresses. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
