I've been getting this tonsillitis for the past few years. It keeps recurring after a certain period of time. Every time the doctor gives antibiotics and it gets cured. Is there any permanent cure to this? Should I try homeopathy or Ayurveda?

Don't know about homeopathy or ayurveda..but in allopathy there is permanent cure of recurrent tonsilitis..it's surgery.. called tonsillectomy where  the tonsil is removed.
