Recto anal intussusception and anterior rectocele of 3.3cm in length.mild bladder descent. Findings in MRI defaecograpgy. Doctor suggested STAAR surgery.please suggest if there is any non surgical option.

Hello, According to your complaints yes it is necessary to do surgery. Your surgeon will suggest you the best surgery he can do for you. Although there are options as well. But this is the best surgical option. In this surgery your rectocele will be removed and that will prevent prolapse of your rectal mucosa.
