For rectal prolapse, which surgery is preferred - STARR or Laproscopic Rectopexy? Is there a difference between the two? What are the risks and complications?
The two are totally different procedures.
Which surgery is to be done depends on degree of prolapse and many other findings.
Risks and complications need to be discussed in detail. Enumerated them without discussing properly will only give false impression.
