My father undergone radiation for throat cancer 3 week back.now from past 3 days blood from poop is appearing.is it due to side effecfs of radiation or gastroentrolgy problem?

It may be due to both, It may be due to transient aplasia and platelet dysfunction or thrombocytopenia due to radiation therapy or may be Haemorrhoids requiring assesment. Need to got to ur doctor for assessment.

Hi It may due to radiation induced enteritis or due to blood disorder U need to consult a surgeon Need clinical examination and blood test

It's unlikely that bleeding is related to RT Likely he might be having piles etc Please visit gen surgeon

First get a proctoscopy done to rule out piles. and If it is normal , then go for colonoscopy with a gasto physician.
Next Steps
consult a general surgeon first. He will advise you after examination.
