RCT For diabetic patient
My mother is type 2 diabetic and has fasting sugar between 125-130 and post prandial sugar between 190-210. Is it MANDATORY to get the sugar levels lower to get the RCT and other dental procedures done ?
For doing a RCT I think ur sugar levels r not a problem at present. But to maintain it after RCT ie for better prognosis u need to control ur sugar levels

Its alwsys Important to keep sugar levels to normal even if you dont need dental procedures.
And for dental procedures its always better if sugar is within normal range as there will be less chance of infection postoperatively.
