Radioactive iodine after thyroid surgery

I want to know about the side effects of radioactive iodine in future..I have read somewhere that radioactive iodine may increase the risk of second malignancy in future.I am reallt worried as i have papilliary carcinoma T2.

Go for surgery first Main is removal with neck node removal Depeninh on histopath report Radioactive iodine will be strted with how many cycles to be given depend on histopath report Not much effect as it is radioactive iodine therapy Not a radiotherapy
