Radiation exposure from X ray and CT

2019-10-05 08:41:15
I have had 5 chest x rays in a span of 10 months from jan 2019 to Sept 2019. Is there a reason to worry regarding the radiation exposure ? Can it be dangerous ? I have also had 2 CT in 2018 one of combined chest ,neck and abdomen in may 2018 and one of abdomen in jan 2018? Including all of them . Am I at risk ? Can a deadly disease develop due to this radiation exposure ?

If it was necessary then it’s ok.

Halo it’s better to avoid exposure but if it’s a need you have to undergo. Dont worry amount of exposure by X Ray is comparatively less very much but multiple CT scan is not advisable . Anyhow if it’s a demand by your doctor which assists his diagnosis then fine
