Hi, Nicotine replacement therapy is a great method to stop smoking. It is relatively safe, but you need to reduce the gums gradually. There is also a chance that you might get addicted to nicotine gums. You can use gums for a maximum period of 3 months. Idea of using the gum is to reduce the harm from smoking toxic chemicals in cigarettes and to ease the nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Gum related side effects will be mentioned in the leaflet itself.
