First I would like to congratulate you for your determination to quit smoking.
It's very normal to have certain symptoms after smoking cessation. That also depends upon the number of cigarettes you smoking birthday and for number of years for smoking.
The symptoms will gradually reduce over a period of time.
But still you are getting the symptoms I would suggest you to get your pulmonary function test and chest X Ray done. Also help you in knowing about the status of asthma.

further management depends upon pft and chest X Ray reports accordingly we can modify the dose of inhaler or in case of any evidence of infection antibiotics can be prescribed
