The MHRA, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organisation have all said that the Oxford/AstraZeneca Vaccine is safe and that the benefits continue to outweigh the risks. The benefits of receiving the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine far outweigh any risks, even for people under the age of 30 or with underlying health conditions, which includes stroke survivors.
Past surgical procedures are not a contraindication as such.
All contraindications and complications applicable to common public will be applicable.
