QUERY REGARDING SHARKOFERROL
My doctor has prescribed me sharkoferrol syrup but while reading its composition I found that there is a substance "MALT" in it.
What is the significance of MALT ?
Is the substance MALT and "MALT" in Malt lymphoma the same thing ?
Please clear my doubts.

Malt is an other name for sugar. I would ask you to curtail it if it is medically not very important or critical.

Malt is short form of Maltose which is a form of sugar mainly obtained from grains and is used as a sweetner.. so in your syrup it is used to obtain sweetness in it..
