Got multiple breast ultrasounds, MRI of ribs and sternum, xray, Echo, ECG but everything came normal. planning to get HRCT thorax done again. How dangerous is it getting HRCT thorax twice in a year ?

Its not dangerous per se but excessive radiation should always be avoided unless deemed necessary. Also if you have to go for ct then please go in for a contrast ct of chest. Please consult before going for the same

Ct scans are recommended only if there are symptoms..otherwise it’s unnecessary radiation exposure
