Have had 3 CT scans till date. One I had back in year 2009 which was a CT of head and the rest two CT scans I had within one year I.e. a CT scan of whole abdomen without contrast in Jan 2018 and the other a contrast CT scan of neck chest and abdomen combined in May 2018 I.e. within a gap period of 5 months. Recently, I came to know that repeated CT scans increases the risk of cancer in the body. Am I at a high risk ? The first CT scan which I underwent was at the age of 15 yrs and the next two CT scans which were held in 2018 at that time my age was 24 yrs. Have these scans increased my risk ? Am I at risk ? Do the radiations from these  3 CT scans are enough to cause a problem ? And how many years does it take for such disease to develop from radiation of CT scans. After what age there are hardly any changes in the genes because due to gene change the kids are not allowed to undergo repeated CT scans.
