Mild cough is very common in 4 month baby probably you are giving bottle feeding. I would suggest if your baby is feeding well , sleeping well, no fever and not breathing fast, then no need for medication. If in bottle feed you need to change nipple of feeding bottle. If only on mother feed avoid feeding in lying down position.
