Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Pyogenic granuloma is a benign skin lesion. It is not cancerous. If not treated it will keep on growing. There is no medical self treatment for the same. Surgical removal by electrocautery is the only way to treat it. Cautery is a basic procedure requiring 10 minutes to 20 minutes. If you will procrastinate and avoid treatment, it will keep on growing and later on may present with complications of infections, persistent bleeding etc. The cost of procedure would increase too as the lesion enlarges in size.
