Put Thuja 30 accidentally in eye

2021-09-17 07:33:31
I had Lasik surgery planned and on the previous day, instead of Antibiotic drops, I accidentally put one drop of Thuja 30 (used for warts) in my left eye.It burned heavily and eye became blood red and was unable to open it. I washed with water, put cold compress and went to a nearby doctor. She said corneal epithelium is abraded and prescribed lubricating drops to be used for a week. I'm able to open the eye now, but redness on the area of administration is not subsiding even after a day. There is swelling of the lower eyelid but vision is normal. Will there be any serious complications? I'm using lubricating drops and L-Pred eye drops now. Is there any cause for concern. How potent is Thuja 30 and will there be any permanent damage to eye? Please advise.
