Pulmonary Thrombo Embolisam

My mother in law had diagnosed with PE and she is in blood thinner medication. Using Pradaxa since diagnosed . Recently after two months blood came yesterday while coughing four times with in half an hour and then it stopped. Cough is not going about four months now . We have done CT scan one month back and been told us thrombus is still present in left main pulmonary artery and it will get cure over a time . Please let us know is it common coughing up blood (hemoptysis) with PE are do we need to undergo any further diagnosis please suggest

Dear,  don't worry For PE patent is on predexa but patient having hemoptysis is  more then need to consult .
