Psychiatric issue

He's been suffering from lung disease (COPD) and being treated for breathing trouble for years. Under medication for about 10 + years. Recently had frequent episodes of breathing troubles both day and night. He's given budesonide and levosalbutamol thrice a day for copd maintenance. Levosalbutamol is administered as SOS during the night. Nowadays he is in disturbed mind, always asking to go out and stay elsewhere. As I tried shifting him to places he's still demanding the same. He had even tried to walk out of home when no one noticed. Even broke window glass to enable him to get away. otherwise he behaves normal. My question is is there a therapy requirement or some kind of medication would be helpful in this case?

He would need set of tests . Get him reviewed by a physician first. Have you noticed problems with his memory, concentration, eating habits?
