I have been having this phelgmy cough for months since january. I had cough and cold. I had a chest xray last jaunary but came out normal. No significant chest findings. And the doctor prescribed me montelukast and a cough expectorant and antibiotic because i had a fever. And i am breastfeeding my baby. I also have a post nasal drip every now and then. My phlegm is greenish an thick. Especially in the morning.

Please see a pulmonologist. Your post nasal drip has to be controlled first. And depending on that you may or may not require a repeat chest x ray.
