My mother is having cough and when we can listen her cough voice inside her chest..we have shown to doctor her medicines are augmentati 625mg for 7 days syndopa plus. She can eat semi solid food. ..can anyone suggest remedy for her cough..she is on bed and she is loosing her weight also..i am very much tensed what should we do...

Hello..... Her white blood cells count is normal so it s not bacterial infection... It's better to get her chest x ray .. At this age lung can easily get infected... If chest x ray is normal then it could be just viral or allergic cough.... Tell her to take steam inhalation inhalation ,avoid cold food items ..
