Are you having any pain or discomfort at present? Repeated sore throats in the past year? Difficulty swallowing? Everyone has tonsils in their throat - normally they are within the pillars or touching them. Also, repeated infections can form pus points on the tonsils and appear as yellow spots when you look in the throat and it is not a problem if the tonsils have lost their color. It would be of help if you could send a picture. Lastly, it doesn’t sound like you have cancer, but can comment what it is definitely after I see the picture. The symptoms of that disease are very different.
