So, everytime I eat sugary foods in between meals, be they dates, chai, biscuits, chewing gums, sweets, candies, chocolate etc., even the tiniest bite makes my stomach acidic/bloat up immediately and my mouth becomes kind of sour. But my stomach behaves perfectly fine if I eat the same stuff after a meal. What do you think could be the underlying problem? Do you think I should get any tests done?
P.S. I am mildly lactose intolerant.
