First of all, list down things that make you happy. Keep it simple, like dancing, singing, running in park, meeting friends, etc. and try doing that at least twice a week. And then increase the frequency. Doing something you like will help you to feel motivated. Once this is achieved, try setting a higher goal. Like starting a new business or learning a new language or doing well in your office, etc. Increasing the level of complexity will keep you motivated. Second, try meditation and yoga to get clarity and focus. Engage yourself in some sort of exercise as that will help you to keep your endorphins high. When this happens, you will not need alcohol to be happy.
