Two months back I fell down from scooty. Since then there is a pain while raising my hand at shoulder. I had consulted doctor he said there is a muscle tear after going through the x-ray and given me the pain killer. Atter having the pain killer there was no pain but since 5 days I am not having the pain killer and the pain has started. How much time it would take to heal and when will we say it needs surgery

Xray can not detect muscle tear.To confirm you can do MRI of the affected shoulder to treat accordingly.
