Dear Dietician, The understanding is that not to store raw non  fish and mutton in home refrigerator. But in case of any situation can we preserve, freeze the raw fish or mutton in home refrigerator in a plastic container or bag containing Salt water so that the raw fish or mutton gets freezed within a hard Salted ice formed due to the salt added in plastic container or plastic bag ?

Healthy morning, It’s safe to store meat and fish up to in deep freezer . Do not try to store these items for too long in the regular fridge. When the freezer open regularly, the meat and fish that is might get infested with the bacteria. After cooking meat , poultry and seafood stored in refrigerator 3-4 days.

Hi, yes you can store it in a plastic bag but make sure the hygiene of plastic container which you are using.
