Is the doctor's prescription necessary to get the hcg blood test for pregnancy done or is it not so important?

It is not important.No need of doctor's prescription.Go and get done.It is laboratory test and done by blood.If it comes negative then take tablet for withdrawal bleeding after consulting with the gynaecologist.
