I had intercourse on 8th march. My period was to happen on 18 march 2018 but still it is not. How and when to test?

At home do urine pregnancy test confirm that pregnancy is there or not if not take tablet for withdrawal .if positive with the advice of gynecologist take further treatment continuation or abortion.
