My wife is 14 weeks pregnant. Her Hemoglobin count is 11. Her doctor prescribed her Iron Tablets which contains 100mg of Elemental Iron. She was directed to take 1 tablet everyday. Is it ok? Or it will cause overdose of Iron. Please help.

No she needs to take iron tablets....there is more demand for iron in pregnancy which cannot be met with diet alone so she needs iron supplement s
