I am suffering from potts spine. I am taking treatment since 5 months . For almost 2.5 months my pain increased incredibly and the mri of lumber spine showed that infection is increased. Than doctor added 750mg streptomycin dose alternate day for 2months with akt regular. Now my pain has reduce my esr is 15mm/hr my x ray is clear i have gain 6 kg of weight. My streptomycin dose is completed (2 months). My question is will the infection increase now beacuse streptomycin injection is stopped. I am taking tablets reguraly. And what is the reason tuberculosis increases initial 2 months of treatment? And is there any chance in my case to convert normal tb into mdr tb?? If yes what should i do to prevent it?
