Post Covid Spo2 Falling
My mother was tested positive for Covid on 23rd march she was admitted in ICU for 10days six dose of remedisivir injection was given to her, After getting discharged she was Give Medrol 16 mg,8mg and 4mg with multivitamins She was recovering very well and Her RTpcr reports came. Negative on 9th April but From last 3 days her spo2 level is dropping to below 90 whenever she tries to sleep ,it started 3 days ago she has extreme weakness and Spo2 level is falling when she is asleep , I don't know what to do as the doctors here are not Very experienced and I am very worried about her , Please Help
Things you can do at home will be breathing exercises, sleeping in prone position, and using incentive spirometer. If that doesn’t solve your problem, please get a formal consultation. She might need some oxygen support or CPAP or maybe she is developing another pneumonia because of steroid induced immunosuppression.
